Media expert Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and his life after he stumbles upon a murder deep in the Poconos. This is Colman Domingo’s first starring role on TV. Coleman Domingo is becoming my favorite actor. He can really turn reading a phone book into a compelling story. And it’s about as compelling as Madness is now. The dialogue is almost embarrassingly bad. They try so hard to be punchy and catchy, but it feels so predictable and contrived. There’s so much about the story from the beginning that defies even the most basic common sense. I constantly find myself asking ‘why why why?!’ So much so that I skipped episode 7 after episode 2 to see what happens at the end. I have no doubt that the episodes I skipped were little more than a lot of overwrought storytelling and unnecessary dialogue.
